In just three weeks, the Communication Workers of America's east coast contract with Verizon expires.
On July 10th, CWA bargaining teams will be meeting with Verizon in Washington and New York. CWA members are planning mobilizations outside negotiations, and at every Verizon worksite.

Verizon workers and their union - CWA Local 2108 - will hold worksite rallies for a fair contract. Verizon is demanding healthcare and benefit concessions from workers during current negotiations with CWA. The workers contracts are set to expire on August 2.
Join their picket line between 11am and 2pm at one of two locations:

Tell Bain Capital to Put Kids First!

Bright Horizons, the third largest child care center company in the US, had been bought by Bain Capital, a corporate buyout firm that makes money for its investors by buying companies and loading them with debt. More than 70,000 children depend on Bright Horizons child care. SEIU is joining parents and child care providers to tell Bain Capital that they won't accept cost cutting measures or changes that put children and families at risk.
